Its possible that you are actually doing pretty good in your healing journey, but you may live in a late stage capitalism hellscape, and that is going to make it way more difficult.
A person may unconsciously or consciously, wait for "rescue" or permission to act, in a belief that they are not allowed to rescue themselves. That choosing to act will only result in pain and shaming.
I have done nothing for five years. I can’t speak or think about it.
There seems to be a gap where psychology and social services doesn't have a way to address this group of people (CPTSD Freeze/Collapse).
There is a glaring gap between what therapy can help with, and what some people like us need to heal. There is no system in place to address it.
Emotions are meant to be externalized
Realising incompetent therapists set me back years - accusing me of having a "victim mentality"
Aversion to being a part of anything
Pushing yourself to the limit and getting no where is disheartening to say the least.
Logic can become a trap of inaction that feels like productivity, when its really avoidance.
