I understand why my parents were so boring.
I think if you stay single for a long time, you become so comfortable being alone that you don't want to be in a relationship anymore. This happens only if you pass the feeling lonely stage and come out of it not wanting a partner.

When I was younger, I wore my Fitbit on my right hand (the cheap kind with no screen). I would notice that by the end of the day I was always at like 8000-1000 steps though I hardly walked that day. Then, I realized it was because when I was jerking off, my hand movements were registering as steps.
