Driver has kept my (15ish min) ride active for over 11 hours now. Uber is saying they cannot do anything about it “until the trip ends”, and only the driver can end it.

A college student in Texas broke his wrist and ordered an Uber instead of an ambulance because of the cost. His driver refused payment, stayed with him at the hospital for 6 hours, and missed a day of work so he wouldn’t be alone. 7 years later, they’re still friends. ❤️
